The wiring harness for the V10 engine is ready to be installed. We have reused some parts of the original Lamborghini / Audi harness but most of it is new.
The engine loom is connected to the chassis loom with two circular connectors. One is 29pin and the other 47pin. Only three of the pins are not used so this loom has over 70 connections from the ECU / PDU.
The injectors have their own detachable loom. This was a standard feature on the Lamborghini.
The ECU of choice is a MoTec M150. It also control the paddle shift system. We are using MIL-spec heat shrink tubing to protect the thin wall cables.
