Assembling the suspension

Suspension components are being assembled and we soon got a rolling chassis. Some modifications have been made to the geometry and we will later also install a new set of Bilstein shocks, tailor made for just this car.

The picture below illustrates how much the front control arms are raised. This makes it possible to lower the car but maintaining the right angle on the control arms.

The front control arms are CNC machined from of a huge aluminum billet. They are re-designed to be approx 30mm wider than the original GT2, giving us a wider front track. They are also much stronger than the original Porsche parts.

Rear suspension is more or less standard GT2 spec, but with huge 18″x14 wheels. Engine and gearbox are just test fitted in these pictures. It will soon be taken out again and totally rebuilt.
