The Turbo manifolds for the Lamborghini engine are now ready, custom fabricated by JAAS performance in Norway. One of the special features on these manifolds are the waste gate design. On these manifolds the turbo and waste gate position has basically switched place… The reason for doing this is we are running a stock engine (high compression rate) and will need to actively limit the boost pressure below 5000rpm. The theory is to make the engine work more like a NA on lower rpm.
The guys at JAAS performance know how to use a TIG welder:) Material we use is 321 SS. Turbos are supplied by Garrett in US.
